Why each slide is a picture of the page

A PDF records where marks go on a page, not which of them form a title, a bullet list or a chart. PowerPoint needs exactly that structure to make text editable. Rebuilding it from a PDF means guessing, and the guesses go wrong in ways that are worse than useless: text boxes that overlap, fonts substituted, lines broken in the middle of sentences. So this converter makes the other choice. Each page is rendered as a sharp image, about 1600 pixels wide at typical page sizes, and placed on its own slide, so every slide looks exactly like the page it came from.

The text is not lost. For each page that contains real text, the text is also copied into that slide's speaker notes. You can present from the images, read from the notes, and copy any sentence you need into a new text box. A scanned PDF has no text layer, so its slides have no notes until the PDF has been through OCR first.

Slides take the shape of the page itself, so an A4 portrait document produces tall slides and a landscape deck exported to PDF produces widescreen ones, with nothing cropped or letterboxed. This is the conversion you want when the goal is to present a PDF inside PowerPoint or Google Slides, or to add your own slides around it. If you need to edit the original content, go back to the file the PDF was made from.

Slides are often shared as PDF (conference decks, lecture notes, exported Keynote files) and then someone needs them back in PowerPoint to present, rearrange or reuse. This converter turns each PDF page into a slide that keeps the page's exact appearance, sized to the page's own shape. The text of every page is also placed in that slide's speaker notes, so the words are searchable and easy to copy while the design stays pixel-perfect.

The slide shows each page as a high-resolution picture, so text on the slide itself is not editable. The page's text is in the speaker notes, ready to copy into new text boxes. Rebuilding fully editable slides from a PDF is guesswork that usually breaks the layout, which is why this approach keeps the design exact.

In PowerPoint you can reorder, delete and combine slides with your own deck, add transitions, and use presenter view with the notes.

The slide matches the shape of the first page, so a 16:9 deck stays 16:9 and an A4 handout stays portrait.

Yes, the pages convert as images. Scanned pages have no text layer, so the notes will be empty unless you run PDF OCR first.
