Self-hosting fonts is one of the easiest ways to speed up a website and stop sending visitor data to a third-party font CDN, and WOFF2 is the format to serve: it is supported by every current browser and is usually 30–50% smaller than the TTF or OTF you started with. This converter compresses desktop fonts to WOFF2 (or WOFF) using Google's reference woff2 encoder, compiled to run in your browser.
Not for current browsers: WOFF2 is supported by Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari 12 and later. Only very old browsers need WOFF.
