This viewer lets you open and read a .docx file directly in your browser without owning a copy of Microsoft Word or uploading the file to a third-party viewer. It renders the document with pagination so long files are easy to scroll through, which is useful when you just need to quickly check the contents of a file someone sent you. Because rendering happens on-device, the document contents are never transmitted anywhere.

This tool is read-only for viewing; use a dedicated editor if you need to make changes to the content.
Password-protected or encrypted DOCX files are not supported since the browser cannot decrypt them without the original password flow.
